Description of the event: 

The Baltic Stakeholder Conference 2022 - Climate Change in the Baltic Sea (BSC2022) will be held online on 26-27 September 2022. The stakeholder conference had to be postponed from 9-10 March 2022 due to the political situation and the following strategic pause of HELCOM.

  • Climate change in the Baltic Sea: what’s the current state of affairs, where are we heading to? Presentation of the Baltic Sea Climate Change Fact Sheet
  • An example of climate change mitigation: presentation of the outcomes of the HELCOM Blue Carbon Workshop
  • Panel discussion and Q&A session with leading climate change experts and policy makers

Day 2 – Workshop (by invitation only)

The BSC2022 is organised by the German Environment Agency (UBA) and the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) in conjunction with Baltic Earth.
