Date: March 24, 2021
Place: Online, -
Description of the event:
The Better Off Blue 2.0 Conference is organised and co-financed by
the Blue Platform project, the GRASS and the Alliance+ projects, as
their project activities include the bringing together of actors from
across the Blue Bioeconomy fields, including but not limited to actors
such as policy-makers, academia, industry and young companies as well as
NGOs, general citizens and any other parties interested in or working
in the Baltic Blue Bioeconomy.
The Conference will serve to
present the outputs of the Blue Platform project, as well as the Baltic
Blue Bioeconomy Roadmap 2030. Following a dedicated give-and take
approach, all participants will be encouraged to actively participate in
the discussions, in order to gather feedback on the Blue Platform
project as well as the GRASS (Growing Algae Sustainably in the Baltic
Sea) and Alliance+ (Baltic Blue Biotechnology Alliance+) projects).
During the Conference, you will see input presentations from key actors in the Baltic Blue Bioeconomy as well as interactive sessions to discuss what is the status quo of the Baltic Blue Bioeconomy in 2021: the immediate, mid- and longer-term goals - and more concretely, the specific actions that should be taken up to achieve this. You don't want to miss this - there will also be specific networking opportunities for each type of stakeholder.
