Description of the event: 

The next edition of ISOBAY will be held from 16 to 18 June 2026, hosted by AZTI. This international symposium brings together researchers and professionals to exchange knowledge and advances in the oceanography of the Bay of Biscay and surrounding regions. The main goal of this biennial symposium, which reaches its 19th edition, is to present scientific most updated works related to the Bay of Biscay, from the coastal zone to the open sea, and its transitional waters between land and sea (estuaries, lagoons, deltas and rias) where human activities are increasing and produce important pressures resulting in effects on the marine ecosystems.

The call for abstracts is now open until 31 March 2026, and registration will open on 12 January 2026. You can find out more here.
