The general goal of the CUSTOM MED project (Improving the goods circulation between the Middle East and the EU by networking and adopting shared procedures and technologies) is urging Mediterranean and Middle East Countries to improve border management operations and customs procedures, to increase transparency and efficiency in trade and border transactions, to reduce administrative and institutional obstacles to free movement of people. Thanks to CUSTOM MED, the several parties involved will have the chance to swap cultural points of view, and share best practices and know-how.; above all, they shall lay the foundations for the implementation of shared and common strategies and goals, thanks to an improved cooperation at a customs transnational level.
