Current needs for organization and security at ports led to the formation of this targeted project entitled «SAFEPORT» to supply appropriate equipment , cooperation agencies both locally and across borders and in order to protect from unlawful acts (security), the promotion of safety (safety) and development plans for emergency disaster relief. The CONCORDIA events have highlighted the need for new accident response design ships with a large number of passengers within the port basin and near the coast, so the project «SAFEPORT» invited to contribute to the strengthening of port infrastructure safety through the adoption of new technologies and the exchange of expertise between the partners.
