The EU Strategy for Offshore Renewable Energy, published in November 2020, underpins the importance of creating a robust value chain for scaling up the deployment of offshore renewable energies and meeting the ambitious 2030 and 2050 targets. The European Commission wishes to facilitate this process by establishing a new working group on offshore renewable energy under the Clean Energy Industrial Forum.

They have launched a call for expression of interest open to all relevant stakeholders wishing to apply for membership to the new working group.
