Full Professor of Sanitary-Environmental Engineering, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at the University of Cagliari; the research activity is mainly in the area of industrial and municipal biological wastewater treatment and in that one of soil and sediment remediation. She has been Coordinator, among others, of the Research Project ENPI CBCMED (Cross-Border Cooperation in the Mediterranean) financed by the European Union: “Management of port areas in the Mediterranean sea basin – MAPMED” (2011-2015).
