Description of the event: Blue Sea Land is the Expo of the Mediterranean Clusters of Africa and the Middle East and of the Italian and Sicilian agri-fishing and food supply chains. On the wave of dialogue, integration and collaboration with the countries of the Mediterranean, the Middle East, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, the Expo, now in its sixth edition, promotes the development of the Green and Blue Economy with a view to Circular economy extended to all production chains through the regeneration of marine and terrestrial natural resources; economic, social, environmental and cultural sustainability; innovation in production processes; individual and collective responsibility from production to the market and the creation of new professional figures. Blue Sea Land also aims at the promotion and enhancement of the food and wine excellences of the agro-fish and food supply chains, brought together to promote the taste and the technological and cultural peculiarities coming from different parts of the world. Thanks to the economic-institutional cooperation carried out over the years by the District of Fishing, the initiative to promote and develop the cluster model, the production philosophy of the blue economy and intercultural and interreligious dialogue was strengthened.
