This workshop is co-organised by the Ministry of Investment-Government of Libya and the WestMED National Hub Libya

Workshop Summary and Objectives
The workshop aims to provide a deep understanding of the Blue Economy concept and its role in achieving sustainable development in Libya, with a focus on attracting new investments in marine sectors. It will highlight promising investment opportunities in marine industries, renewable energy, and eco-tourism, aligned with the Libyan Ministry of Investment’s goals to diversify the national economy and ensure economic and environmental sustainability.

The workshop reflects the strategic direction of the Ministry of Investment to enhance sustainable economic development through innovative investments in the Blue Economy. The event aims to establish a comprehensive investment framework that promotes marine sector development, creates new job opportunities, and protects environmental resources for future generations.

The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (“UfMS”) hereby informs users who may provide personal data to UfMS of its Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”).
