With more than 200 participants from 14 different countries, the 5th WestMED Stakeholder Conference in Tunis on 28 November 2025, has been a great success.
It brought together policymakers, experts, and innovators to accelerate cooperation on a sustainable blue economy in the Western Mediterranean.
Participants aligned around priority themes such as maritime clusters, aquaculture, blue skills, and the energy transition, while identifying concrete opportunities for new cross-border initiatives.
The event also marked the 3rd edition of the WestMED Project Awards, celebrating innovative initiatives with regional impact.
Stakeholders left Tunis with clearer pathways for collaboration, stronger networks, and renewed momentum to advance shared goals.
