Date: June 05, 2025 to June 06, 2025
Place: EDHEC Business School, Online and Nice - France
Description of the event:
The second edition of the "EC - EIB Adaptation Days" will be taking place on 5-6 June 2025 at the EDHEC in Nice, France, with the option to join online.
This event is organised under the auspices of the UN Oceans Conference and will focus on the critical theme of Coastal Resilience and will be held in a hybrid format.
Sea level rise poses a significant threat to coastal populations. The increasing frequency and intensity of storms, waves, and wind patterns exacerbate coastal erosion, flooding, and saltwater intrusion. Tropical cyclones now affect millions of people annually, leading to numerous casualties and substantial economic damage and disruption. In a world increasingly impacted by global warming, we will explore pathways to enhance coastal resilience and access climate adaptation finance.
The event will present an excellent opportunity to connect with climate resilience professionals from public and private sectors, including officials from finance and environment ministries, corporate representatives, and experts from the financial and insurance sectors.
Join us for an insightful conference to address coastal resilience, promote collaboration, and shape a resilient future for all.
Please submit your registration ASAP, as seating is limited!
Participation is free of charge. The language of the conference is English.
