Italian-Maltese joint National WestMED event: Blue Challenges in the Mediterranean Date: October 04, 2023 to October 06, 2023

Description of the event:
The WestMED National Coordinators and the National Hubs of Italy and Malta are pleased to inform you of the 2023 edition of the WestMED ‘EMD in my country’ national event.
It will take place in Catania, Italy on 4, 5 and 6 October, where we will be guests of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics – Southern National Laboratories.
With the support of the Department of Cohesion within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the support of the National Technological Cluster Blue Italian Growth and the Federation of the Sea, we are able to organise this unique event with a range of interesting topics and speakers who will share their insights on the Blue Economy challenges in the Mediterranean.
This event will focus on the centrality of the Blue Economy to mobilise the Mediterranean blue ecosystem, through a strengthening of North-South cooperation, and will therefore welcome various operators from the southern shore WestMED countries as well.
