From December 2023, Interreg Euro-MED Programme together with the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) have been co-organising the annual “MedTalks” event to strengthen dialogue between the two shores of the Mediterranean. This online event intended as an opportunity for dialogue, exchange and sharing of solutions with key Mediterranean stakeholders will take place this year on 16 December 2025 at 9:00 CET.
This event will gather and capitalise successful labelled Interreg Euro-MED projects by disseminating the results and best practices achieved and improving collaborations between Euro-Mediterranean programmes and key stakeholders. The 3rd edition will focus on the main advancements and transfers made by 8 Governance Projects - 88 Thematic projects supported by under the Interreg Euro-MED Programme into the four Missions: strengthening an innovative sustainable economy, protecting the natural environment and heritage, promoting green living areas, and enhancing sustainable tourism.
The agenda foresees plenary sessions to present key achievements and main 2026 Agendas and opportunities for Euro-Mediterranean partners from the 4 Missions, including those from Interreg Next-MED.
This year, one-hour breakout rooms sessions will focus on Thematic topics and allowing deep-dive dialogue with other Mediterranean stakeholders and foster opportunities for future synergies and collaboration.
To keep up the momentum of this online event, each session lasts no more than 30 minutes, chat questions are open-ended and participants are offered regular opportunities to interact.
