Description of the event: Objective of the regional seminar: The seminar aims at an interactive day of exchange on the following issues: - Presenting in a more structured manner the problems and causes of mismatch between available skills and employment challenges in the blue economy sectors, trying to address the needs of the labour market in the blue economy sector/s; - Illustrating possible tools to fill this gap/mismatch between skills and employment, including the promotion of specific employment policies providing the necessary incentives; - Showcasing successful policies and actions at regional, national and local level to address the challenges in the axis education-employment within the blue economy sector/s. The seminar is sponsored by GIZ, in collaboration with UFM Secretariat.
