EuropeWave is an innovative R&D programme for wave energy technology. It will combine over €22.5m of national, regional and EU funding to drive a competitive Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) programme for wave energy. Originally pioneered by Wave Energy Scotland, this PCP model provides a structured approach, fostering greater openness, collaboration and sharing of risk between the public sector and technology developers. The programme will focus on the highest priority technology areas for the advancement of wave energy systems: scale prototypes, off-grid applications and mooring systems.

If your are a wave energy developer interested in advancing your technology via EuropeWave’s pre-commercial procurement, you can join EuropeWave at the EuropeWave consultation webinar on 26th of April at 15:00(CEST) to ask any questions you might have about the process and to give your feedback.

The free-of-charge webinar will give an overview of the project and explain the innovative ‘stage-gate’ design of the procurement process.

The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (“UfMS”) hereby informs users who may provide personal data to UfMS of its Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”).

This database has the exclusive purpose of providing access and roles within the medblueconomyplatform.org/, the creation of users statistics and providing information and documents linked to UfMS activities, under the medblueconomyplatform.org/ website as well as providing information, updates and documents linked to the UfMS activities. Personal data provided by you may be accessible to other registered users of the platform.

Rights: Any person providing his/her personal data to UfMS has rights of access, correction, cancellation and objection regarding its personal data.
