InfoMAP is the UNEP Mediterranean knowledge platform conceived to provide and share data, information services and knowledge for the benefit of the Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP) components and Contracting Parties, in their work for the implementation of the Barcelona Convention, its Protocols, MAP strategies and policies, including the Mediterranean Strategy on Sustainable Development (MSSD). This platform is managed and developed by INFO-RAC, the Regional Activity Centre for Information and Communication of UNEP/MAP, that was established in 2005 by the decision of the 14th Meeting of the Contracting Parties. Since 2010, INFO-RAC is operated by ISPRA, the Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research.
