News: MED Talks 2026 - 4th Edition (25 November 2026)

Interreg Euro-MED

The fourth edition of MED Talks, the annual dialogue initiative of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), takes place on 25 November 2026. Launched in December 2023, MED Talks creates a space for dialogue and exchange among stakeholders from the two shores of the Mediterranean.

This year the session will be held in Marseille as part of the Interreg Euro-MED event “A Mediterranean Journey”, in the framework of the 11th UfM Regional Forum. “A Mediterranean Journey” marks the mid-term milestone of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, highlighting results already delivered by its projects, and is hosted at the Parc Chanot, Palais des Congrès et des Expositions. The MED Talks session will also be live streamed, with the online broadcast available in English, French and Arabic.

The initiative has grown since its launch. The second edition, in December 2024, focused on the progress of the 56 projects selected under the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, while the third edition gave Interreg NEXT MED a dedicated session for the first time. The 2026 edition goes further, bringing Interreg NEXT MED and PRIMA formally alongside Interreg Euro-MED as a broader platform for dialogue, learning and collective action.

Following a framing presentation by UfM high-level representatives, the session will showcase experiences and achievements of the three programmes, explore synergies, and promote the transferability of successful solutions across Northern, Southern and Eastern Mediterranean countries.
