The Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland is located in Canada but actively engaged globally throughout North America, Europe, Asia Africa and the Caribbean/Latin America. Our Internationalization Plan prioritizes global institutional partnerships, mobility opportunities for students and employees, joint programming, research collaborations, and active involvement in international consultancies. Our focus is across the Blue Economy including aspects such as coastal management, fisheries, aquaculture, marine spatial planning, ocean mapping, remotely operated vehicles, maritime transport, port design, etc.
