Description of the event: 

The 11^th meeting of the UfM Working Group on Blue Economy will take place on June 21^st, in the afternoon, back-to-back with the UfM Conference on Blue Finance of June 22^nd in Barcelona.

Following the previous UfM Working Group on Blue Economy, countries and stakeholders will continue fine-tuning the Roadmap for the implementation of the 2021 UfM Ministerial Declaration on Sustainable Blue Economy, agreed to be a ‘living document’, while advancing on concrete joint activities of common interest. In particular, possibilities exist in terms of setting up dialogue group/s and concrete project/s through joint applications for calls. A fast follow-up mechanism will be set up for the already available calls, so that countries can react If interested.

On the 21^st of June, participation will be restricted to the UfM Blue Economy Focal Points, given that stakeholders will be warmly welcome to join the UfM Blue Finance Conference of the 22^nd of June, 2022.
