Date: March 04, 2021
Place: ONLINE, - Greece
Description of the event:
The MedSkippers project is organizing a webinar
on Ocean
Literacy[1]
for professional skippers, and those who wish to become professional skippers
one day, in order to help them upgrade their knowledge and drive excellence
across nautical charter tourism in the Mediterranean.
The webinar is intended to help skippers
understand that apart from the standard competences needed, ocean literacy in
itself has become a necessary skill that can further support environmental
sustainability, improve long-term careers of skippers and enrich tourist
experiences. By truly understanding how interconnected humans are with the
ocean, all of us, and especially marine professionals such as skippers, can
make small everyday changes which will make a “sea” of difference in the ocean
as will be demonstrated in our webinar!
Webinar on Ocean Literacy: Tuesday 4 of March at 11:00 (CET)
The webinar is free of charge and open to the general public. You can register by going to the following LINK
