Description of the event:

The Future Science Brief on “Marine Science Communication in Europe: A way forward” has been authored by the EMBCP, which is a pan-European panel of 18 experts on marine science communication, supported by the European Marine Board.

The webinar will be 1 hour long and will take place from 12:00 - 13:00 CEST and will discuss the challenges of communicating two of the main initiatives related to the Ocean: the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030, and how marine science communication can help these to be overcome.

Other points for discussion could include training and new technologies for communication, connections with other communication fields, and positive messaging of Ocean-related news.

Personal data provided by you may be accessible to other registered users of the platform.

Rights: Any person providing his/her personal data to UfMS has rights of access, correction, cancellation and objection regarding its personal data. Such rights may be exercised by notice in writing sent to UfMS’ registered address or by electronic mail sent to privacypolicy@ufmsecretariat.org or blueconomy@ufmsecretariat.org
