MEDOSSIC is the Mediterranean transnational project proposal to support reinforcing of innovation capacities by strengthening strategic cooperation between regional development agencies and other development actors and stakeholders in the project. The partners have stated that social Environmentalonment in the Mediterranean regions is not stimulating enough to assure good results in the innovation sphere. Two fields traditionally have a priority in the Med space - the Tourismism and rural development. In consequence, there is substantial brain drain of people working in technical and science field. One of the fields of special interest for Mediterranean space is the field of innovation for sustainable development, especially sustainable solutions in the fields of energy and traffic. Partners believe that Med space has a lot of potential to develop innovations, which will contribute to the sustainable development in general and especially of the Med area.
