The ICS project (SMEs and Cooperative Economy for Local Development) is a territorial cooperation project that integrates both regional and transnational level. It aims at highlighting the definition of a common transnational strategy, through the coordination of national and regional policies, for the development of cooperative systems and the declination of the policy lines in coordinated actions between specific sector (fishery, Tourismism, agriculture and Environmentalonmental) in order to improve their capacity to face international competition, enhancing the value of their unique features on a transnational scale. The main activities are: survey on regional policies supporting the cooperative entrepreneurship; common action plan for the integration of cooperative systems; feasibility study for the “clusterization” of MED cooperatives of the sectors identified; pilot projects and online services.
