The 2nd Edition of the Day of the Mediterranean will be celebrated on November 28th 2022.
The Day of the Mediterranean aims to create an annual unique momentum to provide visibility to the positive cooperation stories in the region. This Day provides a yearly opportunity to promote intercultural exchanges, celebrate cooperation, embrace diversity and strengthen ties between the two shores. It also provides an opportunity to launch projects and initiatives and hold events, roundtables, exhibitions and festivals across the region, promoting intercultural exchanges and embracing diversity.
There are several ways to get involved, among others:
· Join the new online campaign before the 28th of November: You can share a video, a picture or a post about Which of the senses are stirred by the Mediterranean? Use the official hashtag #MediterraneanDay and share a flavour, a sound or a song, a view, etc. that evokes the Mediterranean.
· If you work for an organisation or company, you can organise new or frame planned events or initiatives in October-December under the Day of the Mediterranean. All events are displayed here and on the interactive map of that same page.
