As you probably know, a new edition of the WestMED Stakeholder Conference is approaching fast. It will take place on 9 November 2021 under the Italian and Libyan Co-Presidency of the WestMED Initiative.
The Conference can be attended physically in Rome (Italy), will be live streamed for broad international participation and interpreted in both English and French.
This event will be structured around the concept of “Corridors to Sustainable Blue Development,” with four main sessions to provide you with the latest state of affairs:
- Corridors to enhanced cooperation: providing a condensed overview of the main sectoral developments with a focus on sustainable tourism, aquaculture, green shipping, maritime clusters, renewable energies and MSP
- Corridors to innovation: with presentations on innovation opportunities
- Corridors to funding and financial cooperation: bridging the gap between projects and potential sources of support at the outset of the new programming period 2021-2027
- Corridors to project cooperation: with inspiring projects that lead the way regarding impact, innovation and replicability/ transferability. This will be the core of the Best WestMED Project Award ceremony, including a real-live pitching session where your vote counts to decide the ultimate winner.
We look
forward to meet you in Rome where you can talk to like-minded, inspiring
people. If this is not possible, we look forward to welcoming you online, where
there will be digital means for networking as well.
