As environmental officer onboard cruise ships, I built a worldwide expertise
in maritime environmental management: policies assessment at global, regional
and local scale; legislation analysis and application; definition of objectives
and means of implementation for innovative initiatives. Extensive knowledge of
control measures including (but not limited to): MARPOL, BWMC, Biofouling
Guidelines and anti-fouling systems, SEEMP. I am also currently working as consultant on waterborne transport
environmental matters, and several fields related to blue economy and blue growth.
