News: BlueInvest Africa 2025: registrations are now open

BlueInvest Africa 2025 will take place on 15 and 16 October in Lomé, Togo, marking a key moment to connect projects, funding, and partnerships between Africa and Europe. 

Registrations for on-site and online participation are now open.  The event will welcome entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and experts in blue economy and finance to take part in high-level discussions, pitching sessions, roundtables on sustainable finance, and networking with strategic players in the sector. 

The official list of selected start-ups set to pitch their solutions in Lomé has also been released. Their projects showcase the full potential of African innovation in the sustainable blue economy, with concrete solutions in sustainable fisheries and aquaculturewaste managementbio-marine technologies, and much more. The selected start-ups come from Cameroon, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia and Zambia. 

This year’s edition is being held under the High Patronage of H.E. Mr Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, President of the Council, Togolese Republic - a clear signal of the country's strong commitment to advancing a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative blue economy.

BlueInvest Africa is a match-making business event between investors and African entrepreneurs active in the blue economy. BlueInvest Africa 2025 is the third edition of the event, the first edition took place in 2022 in Seychelles, followed by Kenya in 2024.
